Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated 16 August 2026

Every Linkt page is public, so what you publish reflects on the whole service. This policy sets out what is not allowed and what happens when a page crosses the line.

Content that is not allowed

  • Content that is illegal where you or your audience are located.
  • Child sexual abuse material, or any sexual content involving minors — reported to the relevant authorities without exception.
  • Harassment, threats, incitement to violence, or hateful content targeting a protected group.
  • Phishing, malware, cryptocurrency drainers, or links that misrepresent their destination.
  • Impersonating another person, brand or organisation, or implying an endorsement you do not have.
  • Sale of weapons, illegal drugs, counterfeit goods, stolen data or account credentials.
  • Financial deception: pyramid or matrix schemes, guaranteed-return offers, fake giveaways.
  • Adult content that is not clearly labelled, and any adult content on a page shown as a business listing.
  • Material that infringes someone else's copyright or trade mark.

Behaviour that is not allowed

  • Automated bulk account or page creation, and slug squatting for resale.
  • Artificially inflating view or click analytics.
  • Scraping the service at scale, or probing, load-testing or attacking our infrastructure.
  • Reselling the service as your own without a written agreement with us.

Reporting a page

Email hello@crisscrosslab.com with the page URL and a short description of the problem. Reports of illegal content, phishing and malware are prioritised and typically reviewed within one business day.

Enforcement

Depending on severity we may remove specific content, unpublish a page, reclaim a slug, suspend an account, or terminate it. Severe abuse — illegal content, phishing, malware, attacks on the service — results in immediate removal without prior notice. For everything else we will normally contact you first and give you a chance to fix it.

Appeals

If you believe an enforcement action was a mistake, reply to the enforcement email or write to hello@crisscrosslab.com within 30 days. We will review the decision and respond with the outcome and the reasoning behind it.
